Our donors are the strength of the Foundation and the key force for good in helping keep Aki's work happening. Nearly 500 donors have participated in the Foundations annual events since 2005 and the donor group is growing every year. A large percentage of the donor community is active in the GTA curling community from clubs including Leaside, Granite, Toronto Cricket, and Donalda, yet others from the North York area of Toronto where Aki went to school and lived.
Founded in 2005, the Aki Latvala Foundation honors the giving legacy of the late Aki Latvala. With a mission to support the work of charities involved with children and youth, to date, the Foundation has donated close to $400,000 CDN as a result of the support of its donor community.
